Ordinary socks are easy to find. A pair that still feels right after regular wear and regular washing is harder. Socks for John began with that small, practical problem.

The first pair is a softly brushed rib made for colder days. Its working fibres were chosen to hold shape and take ordinary washing; cashmere is added for the hand-feel and a little warmth. Nothing in the blend is there for a grand story.

The socks are made in a specialist factory in Korea and offered in quiet colours intended to be worn often. We care about where they are made, but more about whether you reach for them again tomorrow.
